It's a mix of myself. An open book. My playground. A place where I can display my work as a Web/Graphic Designer and Spanish Writer/Copywriter. An area where I can fiddle around with my web skills. A spot where I can write regarding topics I'm passionate to and have slowly become a big part of my daily life. A chance to publish personal art and photography I enjoy doing sometimes during my free time. An open window for people interested on what I do and who are willing to work with me, in addition to just people wishing to say hi or give me an opinion related on something published around here.
In the very beginning transforvolving was the name I decided to use as a theme for this site. It's not so hard to guess why I picked such denomination, but I did it because it turned out that when I came out to create ilithya.net, I was, and still am, in a stage of my life with sundry transformation and evolution. Since the early summer of 2010 this word became the name of my own personal brand as a Freelance Web Designer and Front-end Developer—transforvolving.com.
Ever since I learned the sign language, I've been amazed the way hearing impaired people communicate and created a language by using the hands. It's incredible to think on the fact that speaking (for the ones able to) is actually not as fundamental to communicate with someone else. Body language can simply cross barriers that a voice can't, languages per say.
I designed the whole layout for ilithya.net, but I didn't designed all elements. The elements I didn't designed and was able to use for free are: the font with the hands used in the headers (by David Rakowski), the font used in my navigation bar (by Steeve Gruson), the font used in the rest of my site (by Lukasz Dziedzic), and some of the footer icons (by webtoolkit4.me). Everything else of course, was designed by me. Nevertheless, thanks to all designers out there for creating such inspiring elements, which are available for other designers to use and integrate into their own designs.
